This is the third book in the Hidden Legacy series which really does need to be read in order. I had such a good experience reading this book. There really aren't many books that I would able to do that with. So I read this book for a second time less than three months after my first read through and I liked it just as much the second time. I knew that I would need to slow down and read it a second time before being able to write a review. I couldn't wait to get started the first time through the book and barely came up for air until I finished the story. I loved this book! I have actually already read this book twice since I was able to get my hands on a copy. The Hidden Legacy series was fun, entertaining, action filled, adventure fueled, and magic enchanted. Ilona Andrews has delivered a knock out series with a serious one-two punch. Though what they went through was not easy by any means. I just have a sneaky suspicion that grandma will not give up so easily. She can make a grown man cry a few tears. Nevada shows her stuff and even shows up a few. The Baylor’s have arrived and that show that clearly with not one, not two, not even three but four of their clan taking front and center to make the Baylor clan a house to be reckoned with.

All comes to a thrilling ride with its ups, downs, twist and turns. The other with a past that could change the future. This time around the past of both Nevada and Connor come front and center. There was an intensity to this read that made it stand out and feel a bit different from the other two.
