

I did not like the perspective from which the book was written. YUMMO! I already said that but it needed to be emphasized. It amped up the story and definitely pushed him into the "dark brooding" male category.

Interactions with Niklas the hero were really interesting at the beginning. I really appreciate that Caroline and her bestie came from culturally diverse families. I like that the heroine and her best friend were different then the culture that surrounded them. It truly felt like we were experiencing Stockholm though her eyes. Loved that the heroine was in a cool location.

However, I feel as though it fell flat because there was so much lacking in personality and character from Caroline the heroine. It had all the ingredients to make you think it might be juicy. But I need to be honest because thats what was asked of me. In other words, I feel like a poophead for not liking it. I respect the dedication, time effort put into putting out a book. I know how much work is required to write a book and I don't like to put down someones work.
